Rules & Regulations

  1. 75% attendance is mandatory for appearing for university examinations, failing which the term of the student will be cancelled. Attendance will be marked in every lecture, and a student who remains absent in one class will lose the whole day’s attendance. If a student remains absent due to illness, he/she must submit a written application along with a medical certificate signed by the parents/hostel warden.
  2. Students must be paid Fees on the dates announced and at the specified time. Otherwise, admission will be cancelled automatically.
  3. It is compulsory to appear in the internal tests conducted by the college. In case of illness, the parents/guardian shall inform the college in writing, along with a medical certificate, within three days from the commencement of the examination.
  4. The admission of students who bunk lectures and move about in the campus will be cancelled. Irresponsible students will not be admitted to the second term.
  5. Strictly follow the lab/workshop instructions.
  6. Student identity cards will be issued to all the students and must be carried at all times with his/her photograph affixed to the same and presented for inspection when demanded. No student will be allowed to attend the class practical etc, unless they have an identity card with them.
  7. No union shall be formed in the Institute. Students shall do nothing either inside or outside the Institute that may in any way interface with its orderly working and discipline.
  8. Conduct of the student in their classes as well as in the premises of the college shall be such as will not cause any disturbance to the rest of the students. The principal may expel a student whose work or conduct is not satisfactory, and fees will be forfeited.
  9. Smoking and pan masala chewing are strictly prohibited on campus. Those who spit pan masala will be punished.
  10. Strict disciplinary action will be taken against students who misbehave with the college staff or cause damage to college property.
  11. Ragging is a criminal offence. If any incident of ragging comes to the notice of the college authority, the concerned student shall be given the liberty to explain and if his/her explanation is not found satisfactory. College authority would expel him/her from the college.
  12. Absence without leave is considered a breach of discipline, and leave without permission is liable to a fine. No leave will be granted without a previous written application except in case of an emergency. Prior permission must be obtained for all other leaves, and the application will be considered by the principal on individual merit.
