Principal's Message — Sakshi College of Pharmacy, Kanpur

Prof. (Dr.) Neelam Jain holds a Doctorate in Pharmacy (specialization in Nanomedicine) from the Institute of Foreign Trade and Management, Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh, India. She obtained the Master of Pharmacy (Pharmaceutics) degree from Meerut Institute of Engineering and Technology, Meerut with First Division. She has over 16 years of research and teaching experience. She bagged Gold medal by Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam for securing first position in B. Pharm from Uttar Pradesh Technical University, Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh and fellowships for her excellent contributions in her fields. She has been working on an array of projects relating to nanomedicine, gene therapy and nanotechnology. Her research vicinity focuses on novel formulation and clinical trials etc. She uses state-of-the-art technology, for systematic evaluation of the efficiency of novel polymeric nanoparticles encapsulated with biologically active agents. She published extensively more than 100 research/review papers in nanomedicine, drug delivery, and formulation technology in peer-reviewed reputed journals and books. She has achieved a Life Membership of different Professional Bodies.
