Pharmaceutics Lab

A Pharmaceutics lab is a type of laboratory where the research and development of drugs and medicines take place. The lab is equipped with various equipment, chemicals, and materials that are used to develop, formulate, manufacture, and test pharmaceutical products.

The laboratory may perform various tests on pharmaceutical products, such as stability testing, dissolution testing, and other quality control measures. It may also conduct experiments to determine the best formulation for a drug, optimize the manufacturing process, and test the drug's safety and efficacy.

In addition, the students study different filling, packing, sealing, and labelling aspects.

Pharmaceutical Chemistry Lab

A Pharmaceutical Chemistry Lab is a laboratory that specializes in the research and development of drugs and pharmaceuticals. It is a branch of chemistry that focuses on the study of chemical compounds and their interactions with biological systems. Here students conduct experiments to synthesize and analyze new chemical compounds, determine their physical and chemical properties, and evaluate their potential therapeutic effects.

Pharmaceutical Analysis Lab

A Pharmaceutical Analysis Lab is a laboratory that specializes in the analysis of drugs and pharmaceuticals. It is a branch of analytical chemistry that focuses on the identification, quantification, and characterization of chemical compounds in pharmaceutical products.

In a Pharmaceutical Analysis Lab, students use a variety of analytical techniques, such as chromatography, spectroscopy, and mass spectrometry, to analyze drugs and pharmaceuticals. They also develop and validate analytical methods for drug testing and quality control purposes.

Pharmaceutical Analysis Labs play a critical role in the drug development and manufacturing process, ensuring that drugs are safe, effective, and of high quality. They are involved in the testing of raw materials, intermediates, and finished products, as well as in stability studies to determine the shelf-life of drugs.

Pharmacognosy Lab

A Pharmacognosy Lab is a laboratory that specializes in the study of natural products, such as medicinal plants, animals, and microorganisms and their potential use in the development of drugs and other therapeutics. It is a branch of pharmaceutical science that combines elements of botany, chemistry, and pharmacology.
In a Pharmacognosy Lab, students study the chemical and biological properties of natural products, such as their active constituents and potential therapeutic effects. They may also investigate the safety and toxicity of these products, as well as their mechanisms of action and potential interactions with other drugs.

Human Anatomy & Physiology Lab

A Human Anatomy & Physiology Lab is a laboratory that specializes in the study of the structure and function of the human body. It is a branch of biological science that combines elements of anatomy, physiology, and histology.
In a Human Anatomy & Physiology Lab, students study the anatomy and physiology of various systems of the human body, such as the cardiovascular, respiratory, digestive, and nervous systems. They use various tools and techniques, such as dissection, microscopy, and physiological measurements, to gain a deeper understanding of how these systems work and interact with each other.

Pharmacology Lab

This lab gives the exposure to students to handle animals and learn the pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamics principles. This lab provides the knowledge of general pharmacology, drug dose, mechanism of action of drugs, screening of drugs, etc. This lab is equipped with computer software for the basic demonstration of pharmacology experiments.

Pharmaceutical Microbiology Lab

This lab, with its attached aseptic room per GLP guidelines, is suitable for the preparation and sterilization of culture media both for static and broth cultures. It is also used for staining and identification of bacteria and fungi. The lab is suitable for the evaluation of antiseptics and disinfectants, for the determination of phenol coefficient, a microbial assay of vitamins, antibiotics, etc.

Pharmacy Practice Lab

The Pharmacy Practice Lab consists of various equipment; used to practice for the study of various communicable and non-communicable diseases and conditions. In addition, the Laboratory is used by students to practice and master their drug compounding and preparation skills in various dosage forms like Tablet, Capsule, Syrup, Suspension, Emulsion, Creams, and Ointments etc., including the parenterals (Injections) before entering the workforce. The labs feature innovative spaces and creative curriculum that enrich the learning experience and prepare students for real-world work on rotations and in their future careers.

Machine Room

This lab gives the exposure to students to handle animals and learn the pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamics principles. This lab provides the knowledge of general pharmacology, drug dose, mechanism of action of drugs, screening of drugs, etc. This lab is equipped with computer software for the basic demonstration of pharmacology experiments.

Central Instrumentation Lab

This lab provides instrumentation facility for students and faculty for conducting analytical practical & research work. Interested researchers, faculty members, and students can avail the facility for their academic and research activities.
